World Information:
So, everything that happened in the MCU, happened. But, always throughout things, there were shadows, people who lived under the protection of Wakanda. And while they wanted to help, more and more, the fact that the remnants of SHIELD kept gathering them up meant that they didn’t dare expose themselves.
Mutants.
Then, the snap happened. When Okoye went to the Mutants and said “we have a plan” they were tired of waiting. They’d suffered losses too, and they wanted some of their own back. So, they appeared, in New York, scattered amongst the Wakandan forces. They got some of their own back. While they did not take on the Titan himself, they did a lot of good.
Then, before the second snap could happen, a mutant (Wolverine) stepped in, saved Tony Stark’s life, and did the snap himself. Then, when the Infinity Stones were returned to the Avengers, the mutants left. No explanations, just them carrying their injured and dead back to Wakanda and then on to Genosha, where most of them live.
Personal History:
Victor Creed was born to a Western Canadian Frontier minister. No one is quite sure when, no one quite knows his history. But he does. He remembers his mother humming on the days his father had left the house. On berry picking trips with her to fatten their stores.
Then, he started growing and he started getting fangs. It wasn’t pretty. His father freaked out and locked Victor in the basement and started pulling out his canines. Every time, they grew back. You can imagine how well this went over.
Eventually, Victor’s mother, Rose, helped her son escape, and he ran absolutely wild. He was sixteen, without a care. He hooked up with some Native Americans, and they taught him survival, and how to use his gifts. Eventually, he left them, finding his temper terrifying and not knowing how to control it.
Victor ended up travelling north, and finding Alaska (LOOK! There it is!) and living by himself for a while. When traders started showing up more and more, he took off for other places.
Eventually, he ended up in Japan, with another white man. He didn’t understand what the man was doing there, but the first time Logan “popped claws” Victor knew he’d found his soul mate.
But, it was not to be. Not right then. He lost track of Logan for fifty years or so, and then they found themselves in the American West, in the mountains. Victor had… done a lot of things he wasn’t proud of. Apparently Logan felt the same way. They started traveling together. Eventually, they found a minister, somewhere in Canada who they
He got his ‘codename’ Sabretooth, in the Second World War, when he was used as a spy for the Allies. His husband - something they never told anyone about, it just wasn’t politic to and it was nobody’s damned business - was assigned elsewhere and it was three long years before they saw each other again.
Shortly after Vietnam, he and Logan ran into a man, who offered them a shot at doing something for their country - Canada. They said ‘sure’, thinking they were doing something good.
Victor doesn’t know what was done to them, except he lost ten years. Ten. Every so often, he’ll get flashes of memory from that time, and it’s never good.
When he found Logan again, Logan had metal claws. That wasn’t good. Creed didn’t like it and the meeting ended with a huge fight, in which they fought until they screwed, and then fought some more.
Sometime in the 1980s, Logan and Vic meet a man. He, and his “partner”, convince them to come to a small island named Genosha. They find others who are… well, mutants like them. They’d run across a few now and again, but they hadn’t survived.
They liked the island, even spent a year or so there. They learned about Wakanda, and its seclusion from the world. They were given leave to build a place to stay there, as long as they did not interfere. They kept their word.
They met Nick Fury sometime around the time that a Blockbuster was destroyed. Well, after, really, because he had an eyepatch. Fury found them through files that were given over to SHIELD by a shadow group in Canada. He doesn’t know the extent of their powers, but that’s because the people in Canada didn’t know.
Over the years, Victor and Logan do jobs for Fury, but they don’t like it.
They do mercenary work, sometimes together, sometimes alone. They work well as a team, but sometimes, they can’t stand each other and go their separate ways.
Then, Victor was in LA. Scouting out some indications that there might be a mutant hanging around somewhere. Sure enough, he almost gets pickpocketed by this skinny little brat, who stuck her chin out and dared him to say anything.
He let her go. He could tell a street kid when he saw one.
Later that evening, he came across her being cornered by some gangsters that were out of their element. Then, the sky lit up and Vic swore. She was a damned mutant and a street kid. He jumped into the fray and punched the kids until they fell down (hint: Once). Then he was almost lit up. The kid tried to run and he stopped her. After stopping her from hurting herself by hitting him, he took her back to his hotel where Logan was waiting.
That was the night Jubilee became his and Logan’s daughter.
After that, he and Logan tried to do right by her, but she was scarily suited to their roaming lifestyle.
Then, came the snap. Victor was snapped away. He doesn’t know what he was doing - it isn’t important. Then, came the second snap. He reappeared, and suddenly had his arms full of suddenly!older Jubilee. She explained everything to him and Logan, and then led the pair of them through the portal to New York. He threw himself into the fight. He wanted to make these things pay for the horror his poor baby girl must have gone through. He used his superstrength and speed to rip the Titan’s army apart.
He fought to get close to Stark before he could do something stupid - like he was going to do. Logan got there first. Vic ran over and picked up his husband, making sure the dumb bastard was still breathing. When he realized that Logan was unconscious, but would survive, he looked around for Jubilee. She wasn’t far. His little family was okay.
Picking up Logan, he took him back to Wakanda, where they’d recovered before. He trusted Shuri to take care of his husband. And apparently, it’s been five long years since he had spoken to Okoye.
Two days later, when Logan is getting antsy about being kept down, Vic is out for a walk, when he ends up on the platform.
Personality:
Everyone comes with scars, but you can love them away
Vic is a deeply flawed person. He has a hairtrigger temper, that even he doesn’t know when it’s going to be pricked at times. He tries to control it - having his baby girl around, having his husband around, helps - but he’s not always successful. He tries though.
But then, there are his rages. His rages are when he remembers nothing until he’s back to himself, covered in blood and healing wounds and surrounded by dead bodies. This has happened several times, and only two people have ever been able to bring him out: Logan and Jubilee. Logan does it by fighting him to a stand-still. Jubilee does with a single word: “Daddy?”
So break the chains and solve the pains…
Vic doesn’t like the damned world. Too fast, too loud, too damned smelly for him. But, it’s their damned world and he’ll fight for it, as he proved against the Titan. He’d much prefer being in the mountains, away from people and their troubles, with Logan and the kid.
He’s a loner, like most big cats. But he has his chosen people - one of whom is not Nick Fury - and he likes being around them, and being just in the quiet moments. He doesn’t meditate per se, but he does sink into the moment and his surroundings, able to feel them. It helps with the rages, and with his temper.
Death was on sale today….
Victor is very aware of himself, in relation to other people. He’s had to learn to be. He has superstrength and he knows exactly what that can do to a person. Plus, he has actual claws. They are very damaging as well, and have ripped through the guts of more than one person in his time.
But he doesn’t regret any of the kills he made. Not even the ones that he can’t remember due to rages. If he was raging someone pushed him into it. He doesn’t kill for fun, he kills for profit, and for defence and for food. That’s it. There is no ‘fun’ in it. Maybe at one time, there was, now it just irritates him, like a cat with a broken mouse “Well, why did that break?!”
Fight ‘em til you can’t fight no more…
Victor is paranoid. He knows there are big things coming down the pike, coming for the mutants and the humans. He knows that with the ‘discovery’ of Wakanda, with the defeat of the Titan, there are greater things coming, and that scares the fuck outta him.
He also knows that when it comes, he’ll be on the front line, the baby girl sandwiched between him and Logan as all three of them take on whatever the threat is. He’s accepted that violence is inherent in his life, and while not at peace with it, he’s certainly prepared for it.

He’d found the garden car, by smell. Green things growing has a different smell, but even here, he’s surrounded by the stench of other beings on this damned train. He collapses in a corner, ignoring the fact that his long legs are sticking out in the way. People can go the hell around, or over him and be glad he doesn’t kick them.
Pulling the hat over his eyes, he takes a deep breath and suddenly regrets it. Too many smells, even above and beyond the greenery he’s surrounded by.
He’s not going to get any peace here. He knows that. Too many people, too much noise. Hell, if he wasn’t so damned mad at Stark, maybe he could get some sort of damned earplugs. But he doubts it. He still wants to punch the bastard’s smug face. Sure, his Runt had survived the damned snap, but it had been a close thing.
Victor sighs, and tries to make himself a bit more comfortable. It’s not working. Especially because he can hear someone approaching and smell them too. Dammit. At this rate, he’s never going to get some sleep.
“Might as well c’mon over. I can smell you and hear you. I ain’t sleepin’.”
